Building models since nine years of age. Started with rubber-powered models, progressing to ½A Control Line models and from there to .35 class stunt and combat models. “Occupied my interests for seven years of sport flying. In 1955, participated in my first AMA contest. Since then, have been active in AMA competition in following Control Line events: Stunt, Combat, Navy Carrier, Scale, Rat Racing, Rocketry event, Proto Speed, class A, C Speed, and FAI Speed. Recently flew novice multi in two AMA sanctioned meets, Director two AMA sanctioned meets and have three more scheduled this year.” 27 years of age, married with three children, employed as laboratory technician for American Abrasives. Served four years active service in Air Force.
