Howard E. Johnson

Former Vice President and Contest Coordinator of District X. Has been actively associated with modeling for over 20 years. Has been awarded title of AMA Fellow Member. Served District X for four years with outstanding achievements in his own district and in his work with AMA headquarters. Acted as spearhead in conjunction with 1962 AMA President to reorganize and place AMA on business-like basis. In conjunction with Ron St. Jean, has been responsible for the prodigious job of rewriting AMA By-Laws under extremely short deadlines, is currently Chairman of By-Laws Committee. Primarily responsible for formation of Free Flight Model Association of Southern California (FFMASC), an organization responsible for reviving model flying in Southern California.
