On the Cover

We’d like you to meet Richard M. Perry of Painesville, Ohio, AMA 5313. Dick is holding a Megow Ranger, which is powered by a Torp .15, built for FAI Power competition. He has done better with the Ranger in regular AMA Class A, having won the larger two of the three nice trophies shown with this model. The smaller trophy was won with his original design Wakefield model shown disassembled in the background. Dick has been modeling for 16 years, and presently is employed as a milling machine operator in the jet department of Thompson Products Company. He has two sons and hopes they will follow his lead so they will enjoy modeling as much as he has. (Photo courtesy of Custom Photo Service, Painesville, Ohio)
