Todd Eigenschink

The committee awarded Todd Eigenschink $5,000. A native of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, he is a computer science major at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Todd is an avid Radio Control modeler and competed at the 1987 National Model Airplane Championships in Lincoln, Nebraska. During recent years, he has devoted a significant amount of time to building models for other people. With the help of his personal computer, he has designed and produced his own model airplane.

Todd graduated as the valedictorian of his class from Lakeside Lutheran High School in 1990. He won an academic letter and was honored with a National Merit Scholarship. In addition to his computer courses, he is studying Russian to earn a Technical Translator’s Certificate. When his schedule permits, he assists his father’s Kiwanis club, which sponsors the monthly bingo night at the local nursing home.
