Charles Spencer

Charles Spencer started modeling in 1931, and joined the AMA in 1938. In the early 1940s, Charles helped to establish the Flying Aces in Lansing, Michigan.

He has contributed to the hobby by writing numerous articles for his club newsletter and taking on the responsibility of club flight instructor for the Capitol Area Radio Drone Squadron in Lansing, Michigan.

Charles has also served as a contest director for many AMA and IMAA fly-ins and in the District VII area. He is currently planning an IMAA District VII fly-in for the year 2000.
